What is The Girl with the Goddess about?
The Girl with the Goddess is a cinematic documentary series exploring sacred feminine traditions, Tantra, Hinduism, Buddhism, consciousness, and the human search for liberation from suffering.
Across India and Nepal, filmmaker Priyanka Lugani journeys through temples, rituals, monasteries, sacred geographies, and conversations with spiritual teachers, scholars, practitioners, and women from different walks of life.
The project explores how ancient wisdom is lived and embodied in contemporary life — through devotion, ritual, silence, suffering, healing, and inner transformation.
At the heart of the series is a central question:
How do we become free of suffering?
Screening and immersive installation in Dharamshala
The upcoming event in Dharamshala will present selected material from the documentary series alongside an immersive installation inspired by the atmosphere and themes of the project.
